A lighthouse is one in a Capiz Best. Lighhouse meant to guide seafarers at night, but the city government sees it as another tourist spot.
Beautifying the lighthouse and its surroundings and making it more accessible are being taken care of by One Capiz, a group of concerned Capiceños, with the help of the Roxas City government, according to Assistant Department Head of the City Engineer's Office architect Margie Maestro.Maestro said a P3-million budget from the Department of Transportation and Communications, which is now with the city government, will be used to construct a view deck and a 375- meter pathway to the lighthouse.
The Capiz Best places in Lighhouse Culasi is designed concept of 5th year Architecture students of Capiz State University (CapSU) will be incorporated into the beautification of the lighthouse. However, modifications have to be made due to budget constraints.
